Yale vs. UMD at Harbor Yard Arena
It was a big weekend as our Yale Men’s Team who had the number 1 seed in the country were hosting the East Regional Final. They went into the weekend ranked #1. The game was held in Bridgeport at the Webster Bank Arena where the Sound Tigers, NY Islanders Farm Team, plays.

The first game the men played Airforce and won an over time thriller 2-1. The second day they played University of Minnesota Duluth. Some tough penalties were called and our boys just couldn’t bounce back from UMD’s power play goals. They lost 5-3 in front of about 7500 fans. Highlight of the weekend

was when junior Lauren Davis dressed up as the Bulldog mascot in between periods of both games. She did a great job getting the crowd riled up and entertained.
We will continue spring training for the next 6 weeks that we have left of school. Our first week

was tough as it left many of us walking silly in soreness. Even though it is tough, it is exactly what we need to set a solid base for our summer training!
