Hopeful

Team Building at the Best Western

Our performance over the weekend was not nearly close to the type of Bulldog hockey we are capable of playing. We didn’t have our best period of the weekend until our last game against St. Lawrence. Bringing together a full 60 minutes needs to be our focus as we only have about a month of regular season left.

Highlights of the weekend include defensemen Aurora Kennedy’s first career goal against Clarkson along with being able to see many of our Yale parents and friends! Aurora’s late 3rd period goal coupled with Jackie Snikeris’ highlight saves lifted us into over time Friday night. We unfortunately were scored on in the final minute of OT and did not gain a point from the effort. On a

positive note, many of our Yale parents and friends showed their support coming from even as far as Calgary (the Gray Family)! They all wore matching blue Yale rival t-shirts for our weekend. Love you all and thank you so much for the support!

Even though we finished the weekend with no points, we are hopeful for the next four weeks we

have left. We have several important games and are going to do everything in our power to make playoffs. We need to start brining the team chemistry we have off the ice on the ice. We are such a close group who have worked extremely hard this year!
