In a few days winter break for our college players will be over and second semester classes will resume. We wanted to take advantage of the last little bit of free time we had left. On Wednesday after practice we took a field trip to the local bowling alley. The teams were seniors + freshmen and then sophomores + juniors. In the first game the sophomores and juniors had a slight lead, but during the second game the seniors + freshmen took over. The losing team of the bowling challenge
had to come to game-day breakfast in different facial hair designs using a dry erase marker, so losing was tough. Senior goaltender Jackie Snikeris had the overall best score bowling a 119, but there were several others that showed bowling promise.
We already said our goodbyes to the Courtyard Marriott and are all moved back into the dorms. We have two league games this weekend. Cornell and Colgate come to New Haven for
a Friday/Saturday series. This morning for game day breakfast the juniors and sophomores were great sports about losing the bowling competition and did not disappoint with their array of facial hair styles.
